As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs, ensuring they can fully engage with learning in a variety of primary schools across Enfield.

Responsibilities:

Support children with ASD, ADHD, and other learning difficulties in mainstream or SEN settings.
Help to implement individual learning plans to support pupil progress.
Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to adapt teaching materials and strategies.
Build confidence, resilience, and independence in pupils with additional needs.
Adapt quickly to different school settings, bringing a proactive and flexible approach.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children with additional needs.
A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with pupils.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
An interest in SEN strategies such as PECS, Makaton, or sensory learning techniques (beneficial but not essential).
A flexible mindset, ready to work across different schools in Enfield.
